Alex has over 30 years of diverse senior management experience in the private and public sectors. This experience includes organizational leadership, strategic business planning, government relations, commercial land development, land use planning, marketing, communications, construction management, and customer service.

This experience is the result of holding positions such as Business Development Manager for Graham Construction, Vice President of Planning and Development

at the Winnipeg Airport Authority and the Chief Administrative Officer for the

City of Winnipeg. 

Alex’s educational background consists of degrees in Engineering and City Planning (where he was awarded the Mayor’s Medal for Significant Contributions to Urban Affairs) from the University of Manitoba. He is also an alumnus of the Harvard Kennedy School.
