Overview:

The stretch of Pembina south of the Jubilee underpass will see many new developments in the coming years. Among these new developments is 1011 Pembina, also known as the site of the Pembina Hotel. The redevelopment project will add much-needed housing to a tired stretch of Pembina Highway.

Challenges:

Ensuring the development can absorb high traffic volume from Pembina by creating connections to alternative transportation networks in the surrounding neighbourhood, and consolidating the number of accesses to the site from Pembina.
